practice closure notice
To my lovely clients and colleagues:
After deep reflection, I have made the difficult decision to close my psychotherapy practice to better care for myself, my family, and pursue new opportunities in my career. I am deeply thankful for the confidence you have placed in me and for the opportunity to walk alongside you over the years.
If you’ve arrived here hoping to reconnect or resume therapy, please know how touched I am by your trust to return to our work. Unfortunately, I am not meeting with new or returning clients at this time. I recognize this may be disappointing, and hold that with great care. I do strongly encourage you to seek support from another qualified provider who can meet your needs. You can search for therapists on directories like Inclusive Therapists, TherapyDen, and Psychology Today. If helpful in your situation, here are also options for Low Cost & Free Support and Crisis Resources.
If you are a former client and need a copy of your records, invoices, or superbills for continuity of care with another provider or insurance reimbursement, please reach out to records@embodiedatx.com. This inbox is monitored weekly. Client records will be retained securely for at least 7 years, per professional and legal standards. Your information remains protected in accordance with HIPAA and state law.
I am eternally grateful for the privilege to have worked with so many dear clients, colleagues, and families in my therapy practice. The relationships and growth we have created together continues on in all of us, even as my time in practice ends. Please remember you are always worthy and deserving of care, love, and space.
With all my care and gratitude,
Mallory Keeks, LPC, ATR
